Exciting things have been happening in our church. First of all, we are so happy to Welcome our new Pastor Shawn Collins WELCOME PASTOR COLLINS! To KERN RIVER United Methodist Church.

We are looking forward to a long and inspiring time with you.

We have redone our landscaping to conserve on water and enhance our front entryway. Recently added a memorial garden in Sue McKinney's honor. A place to stop and rest and remember those who have gone ahead to watch over us.
We are looking forward to a new coat of paint on the church soon.

ABOUT THE MUSIC

Music in our church is vital. The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in the singing of hymns, and also offers choral music of the highest order. Our accompanist on both piano and organ is the immensely gifted Helen Smoot. Her talent lifts our Worship Services to a higher level of beauty and inspiration, both through her support of the choir and her solo preludes and postludes.
